Lieutenant Colonel Susan Hardwick

Professor of Military Science

Branch: Signal

LTC Sue Hardwick has served in a multiple of command and staff positions over her 17 years. She was commissioned in 1990 from the United States Military Academy in the Signal Corps. She has served with the 1 st Infantry Division at Fort Riley , KS ; 3 rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart , Ga ; 1 st Signal Brigade in Taegu , Korea ; 3 rd Signal Brigade at Fort Hood , Texas and with 7 th Signal Brigade in Mannheim , Germany . She served as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at Creighton University , Omaha , NE and deployed on a combat tour to OIF 2.

 

Major Josh Soper

Executive Officer/ MS III Instructor

Branch: Aviation

CPT Josh Soper was commissioned in 2000 from the United States Military Academy as an Army Aviator. He has served in the 229 th Attack Aviation Regiment and the 82 nd Airborne Division. His previous duty assignments have been Fort Rucker , Fort Hood , Quantico and Fort Bragg . He has two combat deployments as a Scout Platoon Leader in Afghanistan in 2002 and an Attack Reconnaissance Company Commander in 2006/7. He is rated in God's helicopter – the AH-64.

 

 

Master Sergeant Michael Samuel

Senior Military Instructor/ MSII Instructor

MOS: 14Z

MSG Samuel has served in numerous assignments over 22 years of service. He enlisted in 1987 in the Bronx, New York as an Air Defender. He has served in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served as a First Sergeant. His career includes two tours in Germany , two tours in Korea four tours at Fort Bliss and several tours in the Middle East .

Master Sergeant Ken Alcorn

Instructor

MOS: 11Z

Master Sergeant Ken Alcorn retired from the Active Army as an Infantry 1SG with over 24 years of service. His assignments include 3 rd United States Infantry, The Old Guard, 502nd Infantry Berlin Germany, Drill Sergeant Ft. Jackson SC, Platoon Sergeant 25 th Infantry Schoffield Barracks HI. Observer Controller Ft. Carson CO, 506 th Infantry Republic of Korea. He is a veteran of Operation Provide Comfort in Guam, and Haiti, Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm. His final duty prior to retiring from the US Army was in the ROTC department at South Dakota School of Mines, SD. He has Bachelor degrees in Geography and Environmental Science, Interdisciplinary Sciences.

 

Major Eric Schaertl

Admissions Officer

Branch: Infantry/Operations Research Systems Analyst

Major Eric Schaertl retired from the Active Army as an Infantry Officer with over 22 years of service. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1982 with a BS in Engineering Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering. He was initially assigned to the 82 nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg , NC . He is a veteran of Operation Restore Hope in Somalia , Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operations Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Hurricane Andrew Relief. His final duty prior to retiring from the US Army was in the ROTC department at Drexel University , PA. He has Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, and Education.

 

Sergeant First Class John Holmes

National Guard & Army Reserve Liaison

MOS: 13F/ 13E/ 79T/ 25B

SFC Holmes enlisted in 1991, serving 4 years active duty before transferring to the NY Army National Guard. During his time in the NYARNG, he served as a Recruiter, worked as G-3 Plans NCO, and then deployed to Iraq with the 42nd Infantry Division to serve as an Artillery Forward Observer. He is currently a Platoon Sergeant with the 107th Military Police Company.

 

 

 

 

Master Sergeant Pete VanDenBroeck

MS III Instructor

Branch: Special Forces

MSG VanDenBroeck has served in the ARMY for over 18 years of service in Special Forces. He completed 2 tours in Afghanistan with the 3rd Special Forces Group Airborne.

Major Russ Rosati

MS I Instructor

Branch: Infantry

Mr. Rosati is a retired Major who served in multiple command and staff positions during his 20 years in the Army. He was commissioned in 1979 from Canisius College in the Infantry. He served with the 5 th Infantry Division (MECH) at Fort Polk, LA; 9 th Infantry Division at Fort Lewis, WA; Siena College Army ROTC program, Loudenville, NY, 10 th Mountain Division (LI), Fort Drum, NY and Syracuse Army ROTC program, Syracuse, NY.
